The Colehill Customs Wheel Carrier & Ladder combines spare wheel storage and roof access into one clean, lightweight solution. Designed specifically for the VW Crafter and MAN TGE high roof vans, this system allows you to securely mount your spare wheel while providing safe and convenient access to your roof rack.

Ideal for camper conversions, overland builds and working vans, this integrated design keeps additional weight to a minimum while maximising practicality.

Integrated Spare Wheel Carrier & Ladder

This dual-purpose design allows you to securely mount your spare wheel while providing easy access to the roof of your van. It is ideal for loading roof storage boxes, recovery boards, roof tents or additional gear onto your roof rack.

Built for Overland and Adventure Vans

The carrier has been designed to support larger overland tyres with a wide wheel support and secure hub cone mounting system. This keeps the wheel stable during travel while allowing quick and simple removal when required.

Durable Lightweight Construction

Manufactured from fully TIG welded aluminium and finished in a fine texture black powder coat, the Wheel Carrier & Ladder is built to handle demanding conditions while maintaining a lightweight and stylish appearance.

Installation

Installation is straightforward and requires a single hole to be drilled. Full written instructions are included.

180° rear door hinges are required for installation. Genuine VW hinges are available at a discounted price when purchased with a carrier.

Rear door gas struts are also recommended when installing this product and are available at a discounted price when purchased together.

Important Notes

When the carrier is fully loaded, the rear door should be closed deliberately rather than slammed. The door should only be opened to 90° to avoid damage to the vehicle.
