Terms and Conditions for Colehill Customs Lifetime Warranty

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by Colehill Customs ("the Company") and are binding upon the purchaser ("the Customer"). By purchasing a product from Colehill Customs, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Lifetime Warranty

2.1 The Company offers a Lifetime Warranty on all welded items. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the products due to defects. The Lifetime Warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

2.2 The Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, or accidents.

2.3 The Lifetime Warranty does not cover the paint or finish on the products. Any issues arising from the paint or finish are outside the scope of this warranty. We do however offer a 1-year warranty for paint, with the same noted conditions in 2.2. 

3. Warranty Claims

3.1 In order to make a warranty claim, the Customer must provide proof of purchase and submit a detailed description of the defect.

3.2 The Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the defective product to the Company for inspection.

3.3 If the defect is deemed to be covered by the Lifetime Warranty, the Company will repair or replace the product at its discretion. The Company will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced item back to the Customer. 

4. Exclusions

4.1 This warranty does not apply to products that have been modified, altered, or repaired by anyone other than the Company or its authorized representatives.

4.2 The Company is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of its products.

5. Transfer of Ownership

5.1 In the event that a vehicle containing the Company's products is sold, the Lifetime Warranty is not automatically transferred to the new owner.

5.2 However, the new owner may contact the Company to discuss warranty options. The Company reserves the right to review each case individually and offer warranty options at its discretion.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is located.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Company reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is the Customer's responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. All lifetime warranties will cease if the Company closes.
